8/06/08: Scheduled Patch

I'm expecting a new map and an extreme fix to the glitches and current problems with the game. Any other thoughts?

we're getting the map two towers I saw a locked hackers room with that as the map so it must even be in the data already.

Two Towers, Sand Hog, and Brush Wood.

It would make sense that we're receiving them in the upcoming patch, since they've already been transferred over into the NEXON North America data banks. Otherwise, the hackers wouldn't be able to hack the database for it.

Unless they had some crazy Korean kid pirate the data over to them, and then they use Google Translator to translate all of it -.- But that's highly unlikely.

Ironically, the people to show us that the maps are coming out are also the people that will end up getting de-ranked or (hopefully) banned.

Anyways, I hope they personally IP ban every hacker in the game, and then continue to monitor the top rank for anyone who looks susipicious. Also, I would hope for all 3 maps. It would be nice if they fixed all the bugs and voided all the hacks. Finally, they should increase the xp gain. Seriously, its virtually impossible to get goa without playing ca 24/7
takes about 8,000,000 xp, and(at lesat I do) get an average of 150 xp per round. Thats about 53334 rounds. The rounds I do probably average out to 30 minutes. thats 1,600,000 minutes, which is about 26,667 hours of combat arms. Thats about 1,111 days of playing Combat Arms. And thats about 3 years of continually playing Combat Arms. Nough said.

as fot someone think's there is gona be all 3 map's put into this version because there alredy thee no this is not the case as for K2 did the same thing with War Rock there may be in the folder ( C:/ Nexon?...) but dont mean they are releasing them to us today... They will be released when time is due.. Anyone remember the AUG I thought they was gona release it because everyone glitching it ( includeing me ) but nooooo they patched the AUG so it canot be glitched ne more.. What they do is uncertan but im hopefull 8 )

Yeah I do hope the maps come out today, I'm kind of tired of the current ones. And yes, we do need more exp per game for getting General of the Army legitimately to be feasible.

Actually, If we look at it very optimisticly (this is going off of sinister at his best game constantly)
you could get it in 138 days or 8280 hours or 496800 minutes. Thats game time in total. Still would probably take a couple years to get.

New War Zone: Two Towers



The fight just got a lot more vertical! The enemy’s nearby comm tower and its signal jamming device is blocking all attempts to contact a stranded battalion in this area. Eliminate all hostile personnel in the area, and restore communications!

AVAILABLE MISSIONS IN THIS ZONE: One Man Army, Elimination, Capture the Flag

New Items: Supply Cases!

-- Supply Case CQB-I at Rank Corporal

-- Supply Case Elite-III at Rank Staff Sergeant 1


What’s a Supply Case? Supply Cases may contain any number of items – weapons, body armor, support equipment, etc. Exactly what, you won’t know until you buy it! These cases may contain non-standard issue weapons or gear items – exclusive items such as the L96A1 Gillie sniper rifle and the M590 CQB combat shotgun – that can’t be bought directly from the Shop. Usage time for the item you receive is also up to chance, so if you’re lucky, you may receive 90-Day usage rather than a 1-Day use for your gear item!


Once you’ve reached the appropriate rank, Supply Cases can be bought at the “Other” tab of the Shop/Storage screen, and are bought with Gear Points (GP) like any other weapon or gear item. Click on the specific case you want, confirm your choice, and the case will automatically be opened, showing you the item you’ve acquired. If you receive an item from a Supply Case that you already have, you will receive additional usage time for that item instead, rather than a separate duplicate weapon. Sorry, the Depot accepts no returns on open cases!



Additional updates:

-- Corrected issues that allowed abusers to use hacks to exploit invalid match types and illegally access gear.

-- Known map glitches in Cold Seed, Warhead have been fixed.

Only 1 map ... notign more to say but told you so... and as you can read WE GET THE AUG A1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally! The MSG-90! I have been waiting since open beta and it's finally here! I can't wait to try it out!

i dont like two towers. the to teams spawn spawn where they are looking right at each other. failure of a map. i say the take my istanistan map and make it combat armsable.

I don't know about Two Towers yet, I've played a few games on it and it seems pretty cool, I'll have to try it out some more. The MSG-90 is really good in my opinion, I got it for 1 day from a Supply Crate.

Even though Sinister and I raped B4uknowit and his buddy, Maniac, yesterday, Siniste hates it, and I find it uneven for Bravo team... -.- Overall, it's OK, but I would've much rather have had Brush Wood, Rattle Snake, or Sand Hog. Now we'll have to wait for a new map next map.

Better yet, we take "Darkness" and make it a Combat Arms map! ... Or they could just release both and Brush Wood in some kind of crazy Combat Arms map pack.

I like two towers soley on the fact that I kick ass there with a kinfe. Its lots of fun waiting on the roof for someone to go up the stairs, then stalking them, and waiting for the right moment to silently slice them open, without anyone knowing.
