Is the G36E really overpowered?

People claim that the G36E is very overpowered... I don't know why, but I also believe that it is quite strong. Yes, there are other weapons that can stand up to it, but very few are as accurate and useful as the G36E. Thoughts?

The G3 is over powered the only problem is that it has to much recoil but on the good sie i love it and the scope is the best. Very Happy

One day when I was playing Combat Arms, my AK-47's time usage expired, and I was stuck with the M16.

Well while I was playing one game, some dude was owning everyone up with a gun. When I finally managed to stab him in the back, I took his weapon (Whoa, could you believe it? It was the G36E! Exclamation

).

So I then went on to get 30 more kills before the game ended.

However, I'm still a noob, so I don't know what that means to the rest of you =P. The G36E may be overpowered, but possibly only compared to certain guns. I say we test it with FRAPS! Hoorah!

Yeah I think the G36E is a little overpowered, they should have lowered the power and recoil to make it more balanced.

The G36E is a very balanced weapon.

It does have alot of kick and once you put on a silencer, then you essentially have a semi-sniper rifle.

Very few can, but, in close quarters, any SMG, can take them out.

Could it use a tweak? yeah.

But overpowered? don't think so.

The kick on an AK is a bitch (in real life and in-game, I should know: I own one)... I thought it even more so when I put a silencer on it Shocked

I actually think the MK.45 is overpowered.
One shot brings me to about 11 HP.

i used to use the ak alot and used to be good at it but latley i cant hit shit with it so i went to the mp5 and the scar which is ahole lot easyer

Yeah, the G36E isn't that bad I guess. It could use tweaking (as shown by SinisteRing's damage reasearch), but what gun doesn't...?

I don't think its overpowered at all.

I actually like the overall balance of the guns in-game. It seems like they nerfed the ak-47 when they left open beta, and everything seems balanced now.

I personally love the g36, but I don't think its overpowered

Wow... I just took another look at the "Damage from Weapons" post, and I saw right there are the top in yellow/orange "Credits to MeatlyLemon."

He must've changed it in the middle of the night to dupe us into thinking he didn't steal it... But I'm on to you Siniste... Yes I am.

ok, me and a friend tested this out to see the overpowered-ness of the G36E. i was wearing full gass mask, IBH, and heavy vest and the AK-47 took 3 hits in the chest to kill me, the G36E took 4 hits, the M4A1 took 5. i dont see the G36E as overpowered or the Ak-47 as overpowered. i see the ak-47 as being misrepresented though.

The ak-47 leaves really bad bruises on the people who shoot it because the recoil is is so heavy. it fires a 7.62x39mm large bore bullet. compared to the standard 5.56x45mm NATO round that is used by i think every other AR in the game.

overall the g36 is a really great rifle(along with every other gun that heckler & kock have made) and its recoil tech is in its on kind, the barrel and firing mechanism are not attached to the stock, or trigger. when fired most of the recoil is distributed throughout the front half of the gun, which is much easy to handle.

The ak is no where near as accurate IRL as it is in game. in game you can out snipe a sniper with the AK47. no way.
