| Hello guys I am DarkBlade, DarkBlade187 (in game for CA) I Belong to a clan known as Rabid Dogs of Hell: www.rdhclan.comI saw this community forums and it looks like it will have a lot of potential. I have been around gaming ever since I was 6 and that would be about 17 years ago. Ever since wolfenstein and on!! I love to create new tactics, role play, write, play games (both computer wise and D&D, etc...). Anyways, I hope that this community here will flourish!! and nice to meet you all! |

Welcome to the forums. Sorry I was slow to respond. I went to bed shortly after a bunch of you guys logged on (and when the forum got a makeover), and this morning my mother was doing her work from home, and I had to go to some stupid camp. Anyway, welcome to the forums! I've been around my Nintendo (NES) since I was like 3 or 4 (Why Mario collects mushrooms, and doesn't make that game look like he's on crack, I'll never know...), and that would've been roughly eight years ago (Go twelve year olds!).

| As much as I remember TSRs first edition, I did take appealing to 2nd for a bit, except that THACO was confusing as all heck! 3rd edition seems more balanced and I am not sure about 3.5, and I am skeptical about the new 4th edition. |

| Dungeons and Dragons huh? Never played it, except for the WarCraft III-editted real-time versions you can pick up on WC3... It's good on that game, so I'm assuming the board-ish-type-ish kind of thing is good too? Well anyways, welcome to the forums. ~ Ghost

| D&D was originally created to make friends and have a good time. playing it with just character sheets, dice, props, maps, the storyline behind it, and your own imagination. This is a game where no other game out there cannot even compare to it's creativity, originality, and fun factor. Sure it takes a few days to read the Player's Handbook, and another to actually UNDERSTAND IT. I recommend getting the 'Essentials'. Dungeon Master's Guide Player's Handbook Monster Manual |
